St. Johns River never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring four runs on a three-run home run by Weeks and an RBI single by Hunter Alexander.
The Chipola Indians scored their only run of the game on an RBI single by Keiner Colmenarez in the fourth inning.
St. Johns River scored one run in the fifth inning, and then followed it up with one more in the sixth. In the fifth, St. Johns River scored on a sacrifice fly by Hunter Alexander, plating Villaman.
