The Chipola Indians (4-1) lost for the first time this year in a 6-0 defeat to San Jacinto on Friday. The game was tied at zero with San Jacinto batting in the top of the fifth when Michael Smith homered off of Bowden Francis, driving in two runs.
Jacob Silverstein, Te'Kwaan Whyte, Chris Clayton, Cole McKissock, Brody Wofford, Andrew Bechtold, Francisco Urbaez, Edmond Americaan, Dawson, Derek Eberly, Reynaldo Rivera, Jordan Hollins, and Max Guzman each managed one hit to lead Chipola Indians.
San Jacinto collected seven hits. Brett Wright and Michael Smith each collected multiple hits for San Jacinto. San Jacinto didn't commit a single error in the field. Wright had the most chances in the field with nine.
