Bats Stay Hot, Chipola Wins 13-3

The Chipola Indians (16-3)  blew out Shelton State 13-3 on Sunday.

Chipola scored six runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to a home run by Edmond Americaan, a double by Jordan Hollins, and a double by Francisco Urbaez.

Junior Harding (2-0) earned the win for Chipola. He went four innings, surrendering one run, two hits, and striking out six. Three relievers helped Chipola Indians close out the victory. Kevin Craft threw one inning, and Andrew Carber and Robbie Knox combined for one inning. 

Home runs for Chipola came when Reynaldo Rivera homered in the second inning, Americaan homered in the sixth inning, and Brody Wofford homered in the fourth inning.

Chipola Indians had 11 hits in the game. Hollins and Jacob Silverstein each collected multiple hits.
