NWF Walk-Off Snaps Win Streak

A walk-off left Chipola Indians (24-5, 10-1) on the wrong end of an 11-10 defeat to Northwest Florida State on Friday. The Indians gave up six in the 7th to snap their 12-game win streak.

Despite the loss, Chipola Indians did collect ten hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Northwest Florida State had 14 hits on the way to victory.

Chipola captured the lead in the first inning. They scored one run when Jacob Silverstein doubled with zero outs in the first inning.

Ryan Shauger (4-2) took the loss. He went two-thirds of an inning, surrendering three runs, five hits, and walking zero.

Evan Steele started the game for Chipola Indians. He threw one and one-third innings, surrendering three runs, three hits, and striking out three.

Home runs for Chipola Indians came when Jose Caballero homered in the fourth inning, Chris Clayton homered in the third inning, and Max Guzman homered in the first inning.
