CHIPOLA Indians lost the lead late in a 6-3 defeat to Tallahassee Community College on Saturday. The game was tied at two with Tallahassee Community College batting in the bottom of the fifth when Thomas doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
In the first inning, Tallahassee Community College got their offense started. Vann grounded out, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, Tallahassee Community College tied things up at two when Polewski singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.
Stobert was credited with the victory for Tallahassee Community College. He surrendered three runs on five hits over six innings, striking out six and walking one. Kinney threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Kinney recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Tallahassee Community College.
Trevor Holloway started the game for CHIPOLA Indians. He went four and a third innings, allowing five runs on six hits and striking out seven. Christian Collazo and Thomas Leoneentered the game as relief, throwing one inning and two-thirds of an inning respectively.
Polewski led Tallahassee Community College with two hits in two at bats. Tallahassee Community College didn't commit a single error in the field. Cleveland had the most chances in the field with nine.
