Indians Pick Up Win in Panama City

The Indians traveled to Panama City this evening where they defeated Gulf Coast State 5-4.

Gulf Coast State opened up scoring in the second inning. Braswell's sac fly scored one run for Gulf Coast State.

Cameron Gray led things off on the pitcher's mound for Chipola College Indians Varsity. He went five and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on four hits and striking out three.

Knight was on the pitcher's mound for Gulf Coast State. He allowed three hits and four runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out two. Guzek and Dean entered the game as relief, throwing two and a third innings and one inning respectively.

Chipola College Indians Varsity hit one home run on the day. Joshua Rivera put one out in the third inning.

Michael Cullen went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Chipola College Indians Varsity in hits. Chipola College Indians Varsity was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Ivan Johnson made the most plays with eight.

Lozafo led Gulf Coast State with two hits in four at bats.

The Indians are back in action on Friday in Tallahasse at 5:00 p.m. EST/4:00 p.m. CST.
