The Indians fell 92-87 to Georgia Highlands this afternoon in the final day of the Panhandle Classic.
Despite being down double-digits, Chipola fought back to cut the game to within three. However, solid free throw shooting down the stretch by the Chargers kept them in the lead and eventually sealed the win.
Yuat Alok led Chipola with 20 points and 15 rebounds. Four other Indians were in double figures including Deric Paton (16 points), CJ Williamson (14 points), Brandon Mahan (11 points), and JJ Miles (11 points).
Chipola moves to 8-2 on the season and are back in action next weekend in Gainesville for the Florida JUCO Shootout. They face Palm Beach State on Saturday, December 9 at 4:00 p.m. CST and Eastern Florida on Sunday, December 10 at 6:00 p.m. CST.
