The NJCAA has released its 2017 softball All-America teams for all three divisions, and programs from across the nation were well represented. Each division’s honors were selected by the respective national committee.
The Division I team was highlighted by four selections from Salt Lake Community College while four programs, including 2017 national champion Butler Community College featured three All-Americans. Region VIII led the way with eight Division I All-America honorees.
Chipola's Krystal Goodman is one of only four freshman to be named to the team. Goodman was 25-1 with a 0.61 ERA. In 184 innings, Goodman struck out 214 against 29 walks while limiting opponents to a .150 batting average. She also earned one save, nine shutouts and 17 complete games in 30 starts.
