Winning Streak Snapped
Chipola snaps 10-game winning streak to LSU-Eunice
Chipola (17-4) snapped its 10-game winning streak against LSU - Eunice in a 9-2 loss on Saturday.
Chipola captured the lead in the first inning. With zero outs, Brody Wofford drove in one run when he doubled to left center.
Junior Harding (2-1) took the loss. Ryan Shauger and Robbie Knox pitched in relief.
Chipola collected nine hits but failed to get the big hit with runners on base. Jose Caballero, Guzman, Wofford, and Andrew Bechtold each collected multiple hits. Wofford and Guzman each drove in one run. Guzman hit a solo homerun in the sixth.
Chipola is back in action tomorrow at 11am vs LSU-E. Approximately 40 minutes after that game, Chipola will finish the weekend against Grand Rapids CC (MI).
