Indians Take Win Over Raiders
CHIPOLA Indians beat Northwest Florida State 8-3 on Saturday.
CHIPOLA Indians got on the board in the first inning when Alex Webb homered on a 1-0 count, scoring four runs.
Trevor Holloway was the winning pitcher for CHIPOLA Indians. He surrendered one run on four hits over six innings, striking out nine and walking one. Jared Howell and Chase Foresterentered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Camacho took the loss for Northwest Florida State. He allowed nine hits and six runs over five innings, striking out one and walking one.
CHIPOLA Indians launched three home runs on the day. Max Guzman went deep in the third inning. Howell had a four bagger in the sixth inning. Webb put one out in the first inning.
CHIPOLA Indians totaled 11 hits in the game. Guzman, Francisco Urbaez, Morgan McCullough, and Webb each had multiple hits for CHIPOLA Indians. Webb, McCullough, Urbaez, and Guzman each collected two hits to lead CHIPOLA Indians.
Musgraves led Northwest Florida State with two hits in two at bats.
