Chipola Indians Explosive Second Half Leads to Dominating Win over #9 Tallahassee State, 77-61
The Chipola Indians improved to 17–4 on the season with a convincing 77–61 victory over Tallahassee last night, showcasing a balanced offensive attack.
After trailing 31–36 at halftime, Chipola came out firing in the second half. Demarco Middleton led the charge with 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting, along with five rebounds and five assists, anchoring the offense throughout the game. Desmond Kent Jr. added 15 points and nine rebounds while contributing three steals, providing both scoring and defensive pressure.
Maodo Diallo chipped in 8 points with three rebounds and three steals, while Yann Kouakou-Aphely added 8 points and three rebounds on an efficient 4-of-6 shooting night. Pavle Misic recorded 4 points and four rebounds, and Bryson Berry sparked the bench with 5 points, three defensive rebounds, and a steal.
The Indians shot 48.4% from the field, including 51.9% on two-pointers, and converted 73.7% of free throws.
