Chipola's own Taylor Rietveld is the Panhandle Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Year!!
After spending the entire season ranked in the top 10 nationally, Chipola women's basketball started conference play 6-0 and was ranked #1 in the country for 4 weeks. They had a tough run in the second half of the conference season battling multiple injuries and falling in 4 of their last 6 games. The team is at full strength again heading to the state tournament in Niceville, FL with their first game on Thursday, March 12th at 3:00 PM CST. If they win that one, we will play next at 6:00 PM on Thursday March 12th. They may peak at the right time! The State Campionship game will be on March 14th at 4:30 P.M. Come out and support the these ladies as they defend their STATE TITLE at the FJCAA D1 State Championship!
