Bio

John Ratzlaff played on the 1973 Chipola baseball team. After graduating from Auburn University and law school at the University of Mississippi, he began his law career in Marianna. He served on the board of directors of the Chipola Appreciation Club and as the club’s president in 1994-95. He chaired the club’s annual Wild Game Dinner that helped amass a sizable endowment for the college’s athletic programs.

Ratzlaff was a key player in the design of Chipola’s baseball facilities and he was rarely seen without his Chipola baseball cap.
